Q1 flew past in the blink of an eye! I began Jan Q1 flew past in the blink of an eye!

I began January doing my digital detox, knowing I wanted the start of this new year to be calmer, quieter, and more stabilised.

Less scrolling, travelling and saying yes to everything and anything!

Time to build the foundations and bring some new practices into my life.

Starting the Flourish programme with @iam_sarahjepson has helped me do just that.

I’ve introduced meditation, I’m more aware of my energy and what is and isn’t working for me. This has been a huge shift.

Meeting my long term coach @hollybrayceo in real life was the best, she really gets me and my business, she’s been along for the ride since the start. I couldn’t imagine her not being there, my guiding North Star ⭐️

Arranging a North Devon legal meet up with a range of legal providers from an IFA, recruiter and a lawyer - @marissaprincefamilylaw

Strength training is going amazing, I’m in the best shape of my life, at 43 💪🏻

Quarterly planning sessions with @thepocketstrategist so so helpful and I love hanging out with my friend @elska.yoga - business really has brought us together 🤍

SPonsoring the Legal Heart and going outside my comfort zone and speaking on stage! Terrifying but absolutely loved it!

Dad turned 70 - off to Crete in June to continue the celebrations.

And as we start Q2 I have huge news …. Which I’ll be sharing next week 🤔

Tell me - what’s been your highlight of Q1?

Legal Support | supporting lawyers | Boutique Law Firm | Legal PA Support.
When you’ve spent 25 years supporting one profes When you’ve spent 25 years supporting one profession… you get to know it pretty well.

I’ve worked in legal my entire career, starting from my very first job (fresh out of college) in a law firm, all the way through to building a specialist business that now supports boutique law firms and consultant lawyers.

And because of that, there’s something incredibly familiar (and honestly, comforting) about a new enquiry call when there’s a lawyer on the other end.

I already understand the world you’re operating in.
The demands.The pressure.The expectations.
And the endless list of tasks that never seem to get ticked off.

Knowing what you might need support with?Easy.

Spotting gaps you haven’t had time to notice?Easy.

Being able to make suggestions that actually fit the realities of a legal practice?Absolutely.

And if there’s something you need outside of PA or operational support, I have a whole network of trusted legal‑industry contacts I can refer you to, because after two decades in this space, you get to know exactly who’s truly good at what they do.

I’m genuinely grateful that my career started in law.

It’s given me the experience, insight and understanding that allow me to support lawyers on a level that feels natural, familiar and genuinely helpful.

And honestly?
I really do love working with lawyers and being a part of this industry.
💭 One of the most common questions I get is:
“What type of law firms do you actually work with?”

And the answer is... "any firm that doesn't have legal PA support in place".

We specialise in supporting:

✔️ Boutique law firms
✔️ Small to medium, growing practices
✔️ Consultant lawyers
✔️ Start-up law firms

Typically, these are businesses that:

• Aren’t quite at the stage of needing a full-time PA
• But do need reliable, experienced legal support
• And don’t want the commitment or overhead of hiring in-house

That’s where we come in.

We provide flexible, experienced Legal PA support, without the need for a full-time hire.

So you can:
• Stay focused on supporting your clients
• Focus on business development activities
• Concentrate on fee earning work
• Keep your operations and teams running smoothly
• Grow your firm with the right level of support behind you

Because you don’t need a full-time PA to run a well-supported, professional law firm.

You just need the right support.

After always hating Mondays, I’m really starting After always hating Mondays, I’m really starting to enjoy them now. The reason why?

I’ve recently put some new rules in place.

⏰No setting the alarm on a Sunday evening.

🙅🏼‍♀️No early wake up on a Monday morning.

🫖 I have a cup of tea in bed.

📖 I read my book.

📅 No meetings scheduled.

❌ My calendar is blocked out for the entire day.

😌 Mondays are MY day.

I started doing this around 6 weeks ago and it’s really changed how I start my week.

My relationship with a Monday is so much better now.

Today, I came down to the Burrows in North Devon close to where I live for a walk with Tilly.

It’s mornings like this that I sometimes pinch myself for being so grateful that this is my home.

I stand here and have such fond memories of being a child down here with my grandad, flying a kite, having adventures and being so carefree.

Today, I’m still pretty much carefree, and have a lovely stable, safe and happy life.

I’ve built a business that’s given me this freedom - it’s honestly the best feeling 🫶🏻🥰 I know my Grandad would be so proud.

How’s your Monday going?
You know those days when you're feet hardly touch You know those days when you're feet hardly touch the ground....?

That's been me this week...

*WEDNESDAY*
8am - Travelled up to Bristol, stop off at Cribbs for a bit of shopping

1pm - Lunch and catch up with my bestie Amanda Griffiths and lots of baby cuddles with the adorable Jude.

6pm - IWD day event hosted by Six Degrees - a membership community for female founders at the amazing Yeo Valley Organic HQ - what a venue!

Over 90 women in a room, collaborating, chatting and sharing stories. You smashed this event Sarah Jepson - proud of you!

I invited my client Stephanie Paterson along and we met IRL for the first time - which was so so lovely. We have many similarities which makes working together so rewarding.

*THURSDAY*
8am - another early start as I head to The Pig in Coombe for the Q2 planning workshop hosted by the wonderful Katherine Dyer.

Always love to get my head down and plan out the next quarter. Also great to see Anastasia Webber and Joanne Manville.

Highlight of my day was chilling in the sunshine with my lovely friend Helen Amey having a good chat about business and the many struggles we face.

2pm - Off we head into Exeter for a Devon Legal meet up with Liz Smith, Jono Randell-Nash and I met the lovely Marissa Prince for the first time - so nice to chat all things legal, networking, living in Devon, travelling.

This is the part of my business I LOVE the most, getting out and connecting with others. Building a network, a community.

I'm so proud to have built a business that gives me structure, flexibility… and the freedom to step away, knowing clients are still supported by the team.
