Kellie Meal Planning in a notebook

It’s that time of the week again, the dreaded food shop!  But what if I told you I had a solution to make food shopping less stressful?  That solution is meal planning. You’ve probably heard of athletes planning their meals, making sure they have the correct ratio of protein v carbs v vegetables for every…

Running a business and being a women in your mid 4 Running a business and being a women in your mid 40’s or 50’s and dealing with the monthly hormonal shift is such a rollercoaster… 🎢

2 weeks ago I felt so flat, low energy, couldn’t be bothered.

Everything felt heavy.

Making decisions.

Having client calls.

Overwhelmed with too much to do!

Trying to make sense of complicated processes.

This week???

THIS GIRL IS ON FIRE 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

I’ve not had a week like this in a long long time!

I’m productive, laser focused, full of energy.

The ideas are flowing.

Processes are being updated and implemented.

My monthly WIP is looking great.

Everything is just 👌🏻

But we all know as women, this feeling doesn’t last (god I wish it did)!

Give me another week or so and it will be all down hill as another monthly cycle takes the dip, taking the hormones with it 🫠🫠🫠

Anyways… I’m off back to work to make the most of this high!l while it lasts 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
I’ve been keeping something from you…. Some I’ve been keeping something from you….

Some of you have already noticed.

Some of you have reached out.

And so I don’t need to keep repeating myself…

I need to share something with you all 🫶🏻

Xxxx

Faff about making a template in reels 😂

In all seriousness - where would we all be in business without social media?

It’s such a great way to build your brand.

Sharing not just work stuff but also snippets of you, the human behind the brand.

This helps us connect with like minded people.

It makes people like you, trust you and hopefully one day - they will want to work with you, buy from you.

I’ll always show up as ME, authentic, genuine and never trying to be someone I’m not.

I also won’t be using ai to generate any of my posts, they are all created and written by ME 🙋🏼‍♀️

I just wish I had more time to be more creative on here as I do enjoy playing around with reels and stories. Instagram has always been a great platform, and I’ve met so many wonderful people on here.
12 MONTHS AGO…. After meeting @carriedarby_hq f 12 MONTHS AGO….

After meeting @carriedarby_hq for lunch I had an idea 💡

I wanted to bring her into the team to help me grow the @goclio service.

I was first introduced to Clio by my client Seven Legal when I started supporting them in 2020 - 6 years ago.

More firms using Clio came to me and we started supporting them with the day to day.

I’m self taught and learnt Clio all by myself.

I soon became a Clio Partner and met the Clio team at different legal events and began building relationships.

Lawyers soon wanted me to start helping them set Clio up, so I needed to start looking at this work as more of a project.

I enlisted the help of Katherine @thepocketstrategist - we had a strategy day and she helped me to map out the process.

I’ve used that process up until now, things are moving faster, projects getting bigger and more involved and I can’t do them by myself.

So time for Carrie and Kerri to join the Clio team.

We’ve been busy working on Clio builds but the project management side is still not right, we’ve made mistakes, under quoted, gone over scope - BUT these are all things we learn from to help us move forward.

Cue @hollybrayceo my amazing Coach, who I honestly wouldn’t have a business if it weren’t for her guidance and wisdom. We had a call, she helped me make sense of the process, and how I should deliver the projects going forwards.

So Friday I spend time planning and preparing a new project delivery process place - oh wow, things feel a lot clearer already!

The potential to grow this service is so exciting! The rest of 2026 is all about building the foundations and getting the delivery spot on.

2027 is all about relaunching the Clio Consultancy and watching it BOOM!! 🚀

Keep following for more updates on how this service takes shape.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ One of the biggest ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
One of the biggest achievements in business is having AMAZING people in your team.

I really did strike it lucky when Margaret De Villiers dropped into my LinkedIn inbox back in... WOW - March 2022!! 😮. (Where does the time go!)

Maggie has been brilliant from day dot. I was confident she had the skills, experience and I trusted my instinct to place her with a client straight away - no need for her to do any work under me as a test to see her capabilities.

Today, she now works with 5 of our clients: with number 5 arriving just this week, having onboarded a new family lawyer.

The reason Maggie has been with me so long?

She always says: "You always give me the loveliest clients".

I check in with her regularly to make sure she's happy, and all of the clients are behaving 😂

As a lead VA, my team are my top priority - if they are unhappy with any client or client work then I need to know about it.

And a few weeks ago, we received a lovely email from a client (an in-house lawyer), who I placed Maggie with a few months ago. His words truly are a testament to what a brilliant PA she is.

I will also take some credit for being really good at matching the right PA with the right lawyer/firm (90% of the time - as I'll admit, it doesn't always work!)

Thank you Maggie for all your hard work and support ⭐️
